The Price/Volume/Time analytical approach of the Wyckoff Method provides chart-reading tools to help traders recognize and take advantage of specific institutional market activities, which in turn can enhance their ability to identify high-probability trading opportunities. Using this approach, we informed our Wyckoff Market Discussion participants on 7/21/21 (and tweeted the next day) that Bitcoin’s changing behavior could soon lead to a rally from 32,000 to at least 36,000-38,000.  Astute traders who took action in response to this observation saw a 25% increase in their Bitcoin holdings (about 8,000 points) in about a week! The ensuing rally was followed by a warning of potential weakness we issued to students on 12/2/21 (and tweeted the next day).  Prudent traders who took action in response to this warning avoided a 10,000 point drop that occurred shortly after.  The tweeted charts above provide a before-and-after illustration of the Wyckoff Method in action.  

WYCKOFF MARKET DISCUSSION

Join us online for a complimentary session of our Wyckoff Market Discussion (WMD), during which we conduct detailed chart analyses of several widely followed markets and numerous individual stocks.  These weekly sessions are conducted by Roman Bogomazov and Bruce Fraser, who have a combined 65 years’ experience in trading and teaching the Wyckoff method.   Many WMD participants have been tuning in each week for years and have told us that the Wyckoff structural approach helps them to stay on the right side of the market, to anticipate near-term price movements and to plan their trading tactics accordingly.

Our Wyckoff-themed analysis of the major US indices (Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Russell 2000) as well as gold, silver, oil and Bitcoin. We examine the current positions of these markets and plausible scenarios to anticipate, including potential news catalysts and lessons from relevant historical analogs.

Stock selection, focusing on trade candidates likely to outperform the market.  In this segment of the webinar, we identify such stocks based on: (1) their prior performance relative to the market and other instruments, (2) signs of institutional accumulation or distribution, and (3) filtering via market structure, relative strength and supply and demand.

Rigorous analysis of trade candidates or positions submitted by Wyckoff Market Discussion participants, including our thoughts about potential tactical scenarios to consider.

Meet our Instructors:

Bruce Fraser – Co-host of Wyckoff Market Discussion

Bruce Fraser, an industry-leading “Wyckoffian,” began teaching graduate-level courses at Golden Gate University (GGU) in 1987. Working closely with the late Dr. Henry (“Hank”) Pruden, he developed curriculum for and taught many courses in GGU’s Technical Market Analysis Graduate Certificate Program, including Technical Analysis of Securities, Strategy and Implementation, Business Cycle Analysis and the Wyckoff Method. For nearly three decades, he co-taught Wyckoff Method courses with Dr. Pruden, and has also used this approach to the markets as the foundation of his own trading for over 35 years. Bruce publishes a widely read blog at StockCharts.com, entitled “Wyckoff Power Charting”,  co-hosts the popular, online weekly Wyckoff Market Discussion and co-authors the weekly Wyckoff Market Report newsletter with fellow Wyckoff expert, Roman Bogomazov.  Bruce has taught numerous special topic courses at Wyckoff Analytics including Point-and-Figure Charting Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, Point-and-Figure from Stocks to Cryptos, Practices For Successful Trading, Conversations With Wyckoff Wizards and the Basic Charting Course.  Bruce has also presented at the Best of Wyckoff Online Conferences in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Roman Bogomazov – Principal Instructor for the Wyckoff Trading Course and Co-host of Wyckoff Market Discussion

Roman Bogomazov is a trader and educator specializing in the Wyckoff Method of trading and investing, which he has taught for more than ten years as an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University and as the principal instructor at WyckoffAnalytics.com.   He is the founder and President of Wyckoff Associates, LLC, an enterprise providing online Wyckoff Method education to traders throughout the world (www.wyckoffanalytics.com).
