WYCKOFF TRADING COURSE (WTC)
PART I – ANALYSIS
Develop a foundational understanding of Wyckoff Method analysis, acquiring the knowledge and skills to produce immediate impacts on your trading strategies
COURSE DURATION
15 Live Sessions
2.5 hours each

Understand the laws, principles and techniques developed by Richard Wyckoff to track and trade in harmony with the big money, represented today by investment banks, hedge funds, pension plans and other large institutions.

Use practical tools to apply this timeless methodology; by learning to “read the market” you can trade alongside large institutions that generate (and stop) big trends.

Anticipate market direction through analysis of price, volume and time, without the need for additional indicators.

Features
• Each live session begins with an analysis of the current market through the Wyckoff Method lens.
• We use real historical charts to demonstrate specific setups as they occurred in the market.
• In WTC Part 2, we follow 1-2 live trades over the course of the semester analyzing the pattern as it unfolds.

•  You may repeat this course at the alumni rate of $700 for the 15-session series.
•  Email info@wyckoffanalytics.com to request an invoice/receipt for continuing education credits which may be reimbursed by your employer.

The Wyckoff Trading Course Part I covers three foundational aspects of Wyckoff analysis
wtc-course-1
Price Structural Analysis

The Price Cycle Recognition of institutional presence and activity throughout the entire Price Cycle: Accumulation, Mark-Up, Distribution and Mark-Down

Behavioral Market Analysis Understanding the motivation and behaviors of different groups of market participants, including the Composite Operator, at different junctions within the Price Cycle

Change of Character Identification of changes in behavior and the overall change of character from a trending to a non-trending environment and vice versa

Wyckoff Phase Analysis Recognition of Wyckoff Phases within a trading range as timing tools

Wyckoff Events Structural signals in a trading range — including climaxes, tests, springs, upthrusts, and signs of strength — that signal and confirm the emergence of Wyckoff Phases

Re-accumulation vs. Distribution Distinguishing typical characteristics of these trading ranges in order to properly analyze Wyckoff Phases and Events

wtc-course-2
Supply and Demand Analysis

Supply and Demand Understanding the two forces that move all markets — this is the cardinal principle underlying the Wyckoff Method and several other approaches to technical analysis

Effort (volume change) versus Result (price action) Confirmation (harmony) and failure (divergence) as technical analysis tools to predict future price behavior

Volume and Spread Analysis (VSA) Bar-by-bar analysis of price and volume action to predict the most probable near-term move in market direction

Volume and Swing Analysis Swing-by-swing analysis of price and volume action to help anticipate when and where the next large opportunity is likely to occur

Volume Phase Analysis Identification of volume signatures characteristic of specific phases of accumulation and distribution trading ranges

Group-1
Relative and Comparative Strength Analysis

Comparative Analysis Foundations of comparing multiple instruments to each other in order to gauge potential future
outperformance

Relative Analysis A modern tool for comparative analysis of different financial instruments and how to choose the best ones to trade

Advantages of Relative Strength Understanding the benefits of applying relative strength analysis to select the best trade candidates, particularly at market turns

Top-Down Analysis Introduction to top-down analysis of sectors, industry groups, and stocks

What students are saying about the Wyckoff Trading Course

FAQs
I may need to miss one or more classes. Will I still be able to watch recorded sessions?

Although you can watch these classes live, it is not necessary to do so. All sessions are recorded and made available, together with their accompanying slides and homework, through the user profile on the website.

As an enrolled student, will I have opportunities to ask questions?

Yes, we want you to understand the materials, so we provide many opportunities to ask questions. If you have a question about homework assignments, we generally review the material and homework in the following class. If the question is about methodology, we approach all such topics in depth during the classes. These kinds of questions may also be asked during the last Q & A session of each course. We usually address questions about the current market or “last-bar” analysis of charts during the Wyckoff Market Discussion on Wednesdays.

In general, how long does it take to master the material?

Our students often report a major improvement in their Price Structure and Volume Analysis after the first 2-3 months of study. It takes time and deliberate practice to incorporate the knowledge and to develop visual pattern recognition capabilities. Usually, graduates of the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 enroll in the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2 to sharpen their execution and visual skills. Many students have reported that it has taken them about 1-1.5 years to feel competent with Wyckoff Analysis.

I am newcomer to trading and technical analysis. Is the Wyckoff Trading Course a good place for me to start my trading education?

We describe the Wyckoff Trading Course as a “foundational” course in technical analysis and the Wyckoff Trading Method, which means that we are laying the groundwork for your eventual thorough understanding of these disciplines. Early on you will learn about essential concepts of (1) Price Structural Analysis, (2) Volume and Price Analysis, (3) Relative and Comparative Strength Analysis, and (4) Trade Management. We advise beginners to obtain some background knowledge in technical analysis and the markets by starting with our Basic Charting Course, reading our FREE resources and watching our FREE videos. For novices whose knowledge of technical analysis is very limited, we also suggest reading one or more excellent introductory texts, such as Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets, by John Murphy or Technical Analysis: The Complete Resource for Financial Market Technicians, Charles Kirkpatrick.

I trade Forex, futures, and cryptocurrencies. Would the Wyckoff Trading Course help me to trade these markets successfully?

The Wyckoff Method works in any freely traded market, including stocks, Forex, futures, cryptocurrencies and others. For instance, Wyckoff Trading Course graduates who trade Forex have reported great improvement in their ability to analyze and trade currency pairs. Price Structural Analysis, Volume and Price interpretation, Comparative Strength analysis and Trade Management apply to all tradeable financial instruments.

Should I prepare for my Wyckoff Trading Course?

You will get more out of the course if you prepare beforehand. We highly recommend that you read: (1) Jim Forte’s “Anatomy of a Trading Range,” (2) Hank Pruden’s “The Three Skills of Top Trading,” ch. 3-7, and (3) some of Bruce Fraser’s “Wyckoff Power Charting” blogs. You will also benefit from watching our YouTube videos on The Wyckoff Trading Method channel.

I’m pretty familiar with the Wyckoff Trading Method and technical analysis in general. Can I skip the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 and take the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2 right away?

This is not advisable and is no longer an option. The course curriculum has been refined over many cycles; the materials are presented in a logical, cumulative sequence; early concepts and terminology serve as building blocks for later lessons. Moreover, we use some terms and definitions in ways that may differ from other Wyckoff courses and books. Therefore, the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 is a prerequisite for the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 2.

I do intraday and swing trading. Can the Wyckoff Method be applied to my trading time frames?

Absolutely! The Wyckoff Trading Method works in any time frame, and with any liquid financial instrument that have price, volume, and time signatures.

How do I enroll in the Wyckoff Trading Course or other Wyckoff Analytics courses?

Enrollment is confirmed at the time of payment.  We accept payments via credit/debit card, PayPal or cryptocurrency (USDC ERC20 token).  The first time you purchase a course or service through our new checkout system, you will create a user profile.  Once signed in to your user profile, you can access course materials, view orders, manage subscriptions and make additional purchases.  Live webinar links and class communications will be sent to the email associated with the user account.

I’d like to be a student in the Wyckoff Trading Course, and I’d like to receive all of the materials at once. Is this possible?

Yes. All registered students have the option of accessing all course materials at once using our on-demand instant access system. Simply select the on-demand version of the Wyckoff Trading Course in the payment menu.

How do I know that the Wyckoff Trading Course is for me and that I will be able to extract the expected value from it?

The first session of each Wyckoff Trading Course is free to all attendees. You can also check out a number of past courses on YouTube.

I enrolled in the Wyckoff Trading Course. How do I access the materials?

Sign in to the website with the credentials you chose during checkout.  Then navigate to the coursework section of your user profile.
