In the early 20th century, when financial transactions were registered on a telegraphic ticker tape, the legendary Richard D. Wyckoff could not predict the advent of digital ledger technologies. Nevertheless, as with any kind of financial instrument, digital assets are subject to the law of supply and demand, and move in cycles. The Wyckoff Method, along with intermarket and behavioral finance models, is an excellent tool to analyze this new asset class.
Alessio Rutigliano’s first encounter with the Wyckoff Method was Henry O. Pruden’s The Three Skills of Top Trading. He is a holder of the Henry O. Pruden Certificate of Proficiency in the Wyckoff Method and serves as an instructor at Wyckoff Analytics. An avid student of intermarket analysis and behavioral finance models, his main focus is the development of sector rotation strategies in the Wild West of digital assets. Alessio curates the weekly Wyckoff Market Report. Alessio hosts the weekly Wyckoff Crypto Discussion and Wyckoff Crypto Discord. Alessio taught multiple series of the Wyckoff Trading Course Part 1 and provides private coaching on multiple topics. Alessio taught the special topic courses, Crypto Strategies from Swing Trading to Intraday, Point-and-Figure from Stocks to Cryptos, and Trading the Crypto Market with the Wyckoff Method and presented at the Best of Wyckoff Online Conferences in 2019, 2021, and 2022 and the Wyckoff Cryptocurrency Online Conference in 2020. He also curates “Wyckoff in the World of Cryptocurrency”, a blog introducing Wyckoff analysis and trading tactics to low-liquidity speculative environments, including cryptos and emerging asset classes, with a special focus on market psychology.
