“By Wyckoff Students - For Wyckoff Students”

Three experienced active traders - all alumni of our
Wyckoff Trading Course (WTC) - presented applications of the Wyckoff Method that they use in their own trading, including:

  • An exploration of trading range substructures that form around support and resistance of large (e.g., multi-year) price formations. Wyckoff logic, phase analysis, and inference of directional bias can all be applied to such substructures, presenting great opportunities for shorter-term swing trades within the larger trading range, and alerting traders when to anticipate the emergence of a new long-term trend. (John C)

  • Bitcoin: a case study. This presentation will cover the origins of the uptrend, the multiple re-accumulations, and the classic hypodermic topping action followed by distribution on the way down. The re-accumulations on Bitcoin’s chart provide instructive examples for identifying when price is poised to continue its move. This case study will illustrate how Wyckoff analysis can help you identify and take advantage of similar opportunities in other markets. (Alessio F)

  • Incorporating Wyckoff concepts into an existing trading system. Most traders who learn the Wyckoff Method also rely on other technical indicators. The presenter for this session is a veteran trader who has successfully integrated key WTC ideas into his trading system, which he uses for both swing trades and long-term campaigns. The principal concepts of his system, (including identification of trends, points of entry and exit) will be illustrated with several recent trades. (Alex I)
