August Special: Trading Cryptos using the Wyckoff Method
Many traders have avoided cryptocurrencies because of their novelty, perceived complexity, and potential riskiness after the initial speculative Bitcoin bubble burst. The Wyckoff Method, however, provides excellent tools for trading cryptos with reduced risk: as with all other freely traded markets, cryptocurrencies are subject to the same fundamental Wyckoff laws of Supply and Demand, Cause and Effect, and Effort vs Result. Although cryptos are listed on different exchanges than other financial instruments, they can be traded in a manner similar to stocks, futures and other securities. The core principles of the Wyckoff Method apply to markets for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies, allowing its practitioners to judge the market by its own action and place trades in harmony with the "smart money."
We are very fortunate to have Wyckoff and crypto expert Todd Butterfield, President of WyckoffSMI.com, leading this month's sessions! Todd has traded using the Wyckoff Method for more than 35 years, and last year created an entire domain dedicated to trading cryptocurrencies using this approach (https://learncrypto.io/). These sessions will be a great introduction to this exciting new trading arena! Please join us as Todd presents:
- The basics: What are cryptocurrencies and how can you trade them?
- Wyckoff's Law of Effort vs Result - an invaluable tool in anticipating next moves in the cryptocurrency markets
- Case studies and discussion of Wyckoff-based crypto trades, showing set-ups, entries and trade management
All sessions will be recorded and posted on a password-protected page for participants to access and review for one full year. All participants will receive a pdf file of the slides used in the presentations.
When: August 9 and 23, 2018; 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
**Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel this event.**
